“I cannot praise Paulina enough as a wonderful individual, let alone the absolute talent she has for bringing out the very very best of each and every woman she photographs.I am not new to having photo sessions, having tried in my youth to break into the modelling industry. However, generally the image in my head of myself never quite matched the resulting finished photos, leaving me deflated.Ever the optimist, I decided that being over 50, that I should capture this phase in my life and yet again, hoping to see better results than previously… well, I was not disappointed! I looked better in Paulina’s photos than even I could hope. How she manages to draw out someone’s inner beauty - I do not only mean me, but every photo I have seen of the many, many ladies she has photographed - is quite frankly, magical.And before anyone assumes that is because she has airbrush them to an inch of their lives - she can and she will clean them up but as little as possible, if requested, but would refuse to change the fundamental original photo as authenticity is her aim and just requires her rather marvellous ability to draw everyone’s inner and outer beauty to the surface).This is proven as she shows you the unedited photos throughout the shoot, which only serves to increase your confidence as you work your way through your outfit changes.So, firstly, she spends an hour on the phone with you finding out what drives you, what your strengths are, what you want out of the session, countering your personal negativity and your perceived weaknesses with such a positive and uplifting attitude you begin to believe you do not have any faults, or at least none that can’t be fixed! And yes, she is a photographer, not a therapist, but in all honesty, she is a little bit of everything and by the end of this portrait photography experience your new best friend!She’s honest, hard-working, caring and kind - and an outstanding portrait photographer. I have no qualms about writing such an outstanding review, as it is honest account of my experience.And not to leave out the fact Paulina works with best team of makeup artists. I am very reticent about anyone doing my make up, as I like a dewy but sexy make up style, which I believed I could do far better than any Makeup Artist I have had over the years. SJ is a senior executive at a Fintech company. Having had her son later in life, at 40, through fertility treatment: Her story is that of building her career whilst bringing up her son and working full time, not that unusual in this lifetime.
